Scene 1

INT.  INDOOR POOL, JACUZZI – ALEX’S DREAM

1)   CU looking down onto the bubbles of the Jacuzzi

2)   Slowly tilts up 90 degrees to eventually reveal all three characters

a.     Possible pan in between

3)   Montage sequence shots

a.     Slowly panning around the Jacuzzi

b.     CU of each character

c.      CU of fruit being dangled into Alex’s mouth

d.     MS all three characters

e.     Slowly zoom into Alex as he smiles at the camera ( with orange in his mouth)

f.      Side on shot of one of the girls hands picking up a martini glass

g.     High angle (watching himself from his dream)

h.     CU shot of one quarter of the Jacuzzi

i.       CU shot of girls pouring vodka in to each other’s mouths

j.       CU of Alex’s steamed up sunglasses

4)   Wide shot of the Jacuzzi, camera facing the characters

a.     MS girls get up and leave

b.     Side shot of girls exiting the Jacuzzi and Alex standing up staring straight ahead

c.      MS (a.) Alex looking at Camera standing up and feeling powerless, shouting for girls to come back

5)   Layered shots of shower water

6)   Alex submerges under water

a.     Either he sinks himself or gets out and slips in to the pool

Scene 2

INT.  ALEX HOME, BEDROOM – DAY

1)   High angle opposite corner of the room ECU of Alex waking up, camera cuts back in a few stages (or the reverse of that – final zoom in his eyes flicker) – facial expression to suggest that he has had a wet dream

2)    

a.     Pull his hand out of under the duvet – looks at it and wipes it on the sheets

b.     Shot from under the duvet of Alex lying on his back pulling his hand out

c.      Or Alex lifts up the duvet and reacts and drops duvet

d.     Side on shot CU Alex’s face when he hears his mum shouting

e.     OSS of mum peeping into Alex’s room

f.      OSS Alex in bed seeing his mum pop through the door

g.     CU of Alex

h.     CU of Mum

i.       MS of Alex that pans to his mum as she leaves the door, pans back to Alex as he is screwing.

j.       CU of quick snippet shots of Alex throwing his boxers into the bin.

Scene 3

INT.  ALEX HOME, BATHROOM -- DAY

1)   OSS gazing in to mirror: brushing teeth, analysing himself, looking closer in to the mirror, pretending to pick a spot

2)   Camera reveals purple/blue mouthwash, flashes of his dream pop up position behind the mouthwash / in front of Alex

Scene 4

INT.  ALEX HOME, KITCHEN – DAY

1)   Camera positioned behind the toaster, camera tilts up as toast pops up at the same time as Alex walks in to the kitchen

2)   Quick snippet ECU of Alex filling up the kettle, putting the lid on, turning it on

3)   POV wide shot from toast looking up at Alex as he spreads the toast, mum in back ground giving orders as the noise of the kettle gets louder

a.     Mum speeds up

b.     Alex slows down

c.      Consider same zoom as scene 2

d.     Noise of the kettle gets louder and drains his mums voice

4)   ECU headshot of mum eating cereal with fruit in it 

5)   MS of mum behind the kettle with the steam in front of her

6)   Wide shot OSS of Alex in the foreground and mum in the background, mum pacing round really fast and Alex slowly coming back in to the zone to interrupt her – Post production tilt of camera moving upwards

7)   Low angle shot from the kitchen door/fridge of Alex “Shit my wallet”

Scene 5

INT.  MUM’S CAR, DRIVE TO STATION – DAY

1)   CU quick snippet shots of:

a.     key starting the ignition

b.     Gear stick in to drive

c.      Foot on the pedal

d.     Hand break off

2)   Camera in back of car OSS of Alex staring out the window

3)   Camera in back of car OSS of mum

4)   POV of Alex looking at mum

5)   Low angle under the chair, looking up at Alex

6)   POV of mum “You forgot your phone”

7)   OSS Alex collecting phone from mum

Scene 6

EXT.  EXIT CAR, CANONS PARK STATION – DAY

1)   Camera follows Alex walking in to the station and up the stairs

2)   Still shot from the platform of Alex reaching the top of the stairs

3)   Camera watches him get on the train

Scene 7

INT.  ON THE TRAIN, CANONS PARK TO QUEENSBURY – DAY

1)   Shot of Alex coming through the door on to the train camera positioned in the disabled chair nearest to the door that he gets on and pans round to him sitting down

2)   Camera positioned opposite Alex, a couple of seats further down

3)   Alex is staring out of the window with his bag on the seat next to him

Scene 8

EXT.  BARNET F.C, THE HIVE – DAY

1)   Low angle shots of Alex kicking a football

2)   POV of running with the ball

3)   Shots from behind him, following him playing with the ball

4)   POV from the ball

5)   Get some nice long shots (angles will depend on location)

6)   OSS of Girl 1 with Alex playing football in the background

a.     Viewer doesn’t know that it is Girl 1 yet

7)   OSS of Alex, noticing the girl having a picnic on the other side of the football pitch

8)   LS of Girl 1 subtly waving at Alex

9)   CU of his face looking in to the distance

10)                  LS from behind Girl 1 waving at Alex who is in the background

11)                  MS side on of Alex walking in her direction

a.     Or low angle shot with his bag on the floor in the foreground as he walks away and then comes back for the bag

12)                  MS side on of Alex walking and then running in her direction

13)                  POV from Alex MCU of Girl 1

14)                  Low angle shot in front of Alex falling to the floor

15)                  CU camera will be the opposite side of (12) and will mirror shot 1, scene 9

Scene 9

INT.  TRAIN, QUEENSBURY STATION – DAY

1)   CU Alex back on the train has been nudged and woken up (mirror shot 15 scene 8)

2)   MCU of Alex looking up and there is someone tapping him on the shoulder

a.     Or POV of Alex

3)   POV of Alex looking at the passenger, looks around the train and then moves his bag

4)   POV of Alex moving his head round and noticing  Girl 1 just getting on the train

5)   Camera is opposite Alex who is trying to down the carriage

6)   The camera pans with him

7)   Alex sits back and is quite confused

8)   MS from the seat next to him perspective, his papers fall out of his hands

Scene 10

INT.  TRAIN, BAKER STREET STATION – DAY

1)   Camera on Baker Street platform waits for Alex to get off the train and follow him up the stairs and out of the station

2)   Similar to (1) camera waits outside the station this time, tracks back with Alex following the camera

a.     Perhaps use tracking back shots for after he has bought vodka

Scene 11

EXT.  BAKER STREET, WESTMINSTER UNI — DAY

1)   Camera will be behind the uni doors as Alex tries to push it open, they are locked

a.     Look for reflection in the door

2)   Side on shot from the pavement of Alex looking and reading the sign

3)   POV of Alex looking down and seeing an empty bottle of vodka on the floor

4)   POV of Alex looking left and right for a newsagent

5)   Camera from side of door, pans around as Alex walks into the newsagent

6)   Reverse pan as he walks out with a bottle of vodka

7)   MCU of Alex opening it and sipping it

a.     Potential ECU of the iris in his eye getting bigger

8)   Alex is walking down the street, the camera is at a Dutch angle to resemble Alex’s state of mind

a.     Dutch angle in front of Alex

b.     Dutch angle behind

Scene 12

INT.  PICCADILLY CIRCUS, DONUTS & BAGUETTES – DAY

1)   From inside the shop window the camera pans as Alex walks towards the shop and gets a shock when noticing the girl in the window before he walks into the shop. With his bottle of vodka

2)   POV of Alex noticing Liv behind the till

3)   POV of Liv noticing Alex

4)   Low angle shot from the till of Alex towards the till (from the till level)

5)   POV shot of Alex looking at Liv (try from the till level??)

6)   POV shot of Liv looking at Alex

7)   POV of Alex looking at Liv and starts seeing double and even flashbacks of his dreams of Liv.

8)   POV of each character during the dialogue.

9)   Mirrored shot of Alex exiting as he walked in

a.     Low angle shot from behind the till (maybe from the floor level)

Scene 13

EXT.  PICCADILLY CIRCUS – DAY

1)   POV of Alex walking around (speed up and layered in post)

2)   Low shot pan a 360 degree circumference surrounding Alex

3)   High angle shot of Alex looking lost in the public

4)   Quick movement shots of the lights in Piccadilly

5)   Shot of Alex walking around lost from D&B window

6)   Long shot of Alex crossing the road

Scene 14

EXT.  HYDE PARK – DAY

1)   High Angle shot mirroring the opening shot of Alex in bed

a.     Liv joining the scene

2)   CU of Alex’s head, Livs hand comes into scene to nudge him

3)   MS behind Liv of Alex laying on the floor by a tree. Alex in full frame

4)   OSS of Liv looking down at Alex

5)   POV of Alex looking up at Liv

a.     POV of following Alex’s eye going up Liv’s leg until he reaches her face

6)   ECU of Alex’s face as squinting and looking up at Liv

7)   Wide shot of Liv attempting to lift Alex up

8)   Carry on the shot as they walk away into the distance…?
