For my introduction scene I have considered certain first shots. The viewer won't be aware that Alex is having a dream until he wakes up. The bubbles of the jacuzzi will flow as the credits begin before the camera reveals Alex and both girls in the jacuzzi. I have found a rock song that was written by Paul McCartney and sung by The Faces in 1972 called Baby I'm Amazed.

I am quite cautious that a long introduction could become boring so I am thinking am thinking the credits will role over the dream before the music starts to disappear and Alex's dream ends.
Raging Bull (1980)
Fixed shot throughout is at a slow speed. Complimented by slow classical music.

Reservoir Dogs (1991)
Close up of each character. Introducing the actors. Slowed down footage. 1960's Rock music over the top that integrates into the noise of the opening scene.

Lord of War (2005)
1960's folk music plays whilst the viewer follows the life of a bullet being made and sent out to its destination. The viewer is made to guess where the destination the bullet is heading to, when the bullet gets shot through the barrel of the gun, the music gets swallowed by the shot and speed.

Lost in Translation (2003)
The first clip we see is a 30 second fixed shot of Scarlett johansson's backside that breaks into dreamy music followed by a male starring out of his taxi into the urban city of Tokyo.

Memonto (2000)
A fixed shot on a polaroid picture is reversed. It looks as though a special effect has taken place to remove the image but it has been reversed from the development of the image to the paper coming out the camera.

I also looked at other film intro sequences such as Fight club, The girl with the dragon tattoo, Kill Bill vol. 1, 2001 Space odyssey, The shining, American psycho, se7en, Pi, Requiem for a dream, the wrestler, Casino Royal, Skyfall, No Country for old men amongst many others.
