Submission: 17th Jan 3pm


8th October: 1st tutorial – initial plan of project/time management to this session to negotiate
Expects 20 different types of research text
14th October: 2nd tutorial –
17th October: COP lecture
22nd October: studio development practice session
29th October: 3rd tutorial – would like to see a structure plan
31st October: lecture – organizing your research project
5th November: presentation (in small crit groups) verbally & visually demonstrate. 15 mins presentation
21st November: lecture – methodologies and critical analysis
26th November: 4th tutorial – one chapter written!! (1500 words of chapter of my choice)
28th November: lecture – academic writing conventions
3rd December: 5th tutorial – first draft of key chapters written
5th December: lecture – resolving your research project
10th December: Poster presentation exhibition
6th January: 6th tutorial – ATLEAST 2nd (final) draft – including introduction & conclusion / finalized biography & practical

Between 6000-9000 words

Intro
Development of argument through chapters that talk about theorist, practitioners

Aims:
-       to define an individual analytic and evaluative research interest within the study of art and design contexts
-       to develop skills in appropriate written and practical research and evaluate formats that reflect an understanding commensurate with BA (hons) level 6 academic practices
-       to employ a synthesized understanding of theoretical and practical contexts of individual creative practices and concerns
-       to adequately prepare learners for the theoretical and practical research demands of postgraduate study


attendance at primary opportunities / conferences / events / masterclasses – must be documented on your blog
