I knew it was essential to write down the equipment i would need for my shoots. I would tick them along the way as i was renting them out. I try to make it a habit to write down lists of work that needs doing, tasks that need completing, and in general every day requirements i have to do.
The diagram below is a floor plan that i was using to organise my lights for when i got the car into the theatre studio.
