taxi scenes in movies

After working out that i dont have anywhere near the budget to have a car moving with lights surrounding it as im shooting, i will be shooting my taxi scene stationary in the studio theatre at uni.

Due to restrictions such as not having a variety of plug socks, plus loads of equipment, it seems the most sensible idea to replicate the scene of pulp fiction by keeping the car stationary.

I have access to the green screen at uni, and with my past experience of being able to use a green screen, it will be the easiest and cheapest technique to film a scene in a car.

Tarantino uses a rear projector to project his footage from behind the taxi. We don't have one at uni so it leaves me no choice but to stick with a green screen and replace night footage behind my scene. Tarantino has also hired a team that are moving lights to replicate street lights, and essentially create a dramatic feel to the scene because he has a member of crew rotating one of the lights.
