UJS Career Networking Event

UJS & TrainE-TraidE have teamed up to bring the largest career networking event available for Jewish People. The event took place on April 10th. Before i went i researched the companies that had been announced on the website and many of them were financial and banking corporate companies. One media company called Redbus Media, which didn't seem to have much to do with filming, but i felt it was relevant to go along for the experience and hope to meet people with the same future career interests as myself.

The event was very interesting and for a first time at a networking event like this, I found great confidence in talking about myself and listening to others. It was in a beautiful venue on Baker Street which gave me a feel good feeling as i walked through the building, i started to sense money, importance and a career. 

Everybody was divided into groups and the event was set up like a speed dating process. I was put with three professions; Kieran Fox from Encore Tickets, Suzie Benson from Touchstone Growth, and Eliot Kaye from Shore Capital Ltd.
