Looking at transmedia and music videos

500-700 words to tell us the thing that ive made/the theme/the narrative. the character and tell us how I will take an aspect of that project into another space, for eg how would I take my film about football, and take my character and put him into another space/environment (different to proposal form)

2 options
1.     write a document about how you would envisage your character or environment and use in a film/game
2.     or move a character from an adult story and move it into a childrens interactive world

so tailoring one story into another
can make whatever you want

prime example
looking at marvel heroes:
got avengers,

Public survice broadcasting repurpose old films to new effect! Touring and on a quest to inform - educate and most importantly - entertain. The same motto i'd like to repeat. Their work is inspiring and makes you listen to the words along with good flowing music behind it.

Elizabeth Price's Turner prize-winning The Woolworths Choir of 1979 - video excerpt

http://www.guardian.co.uk/artanddesign/video/2012/dec/04/elizabeth-price-woolworths-choir-video

Elizabeth Price won the Turner prize in 2012 beating the favourites. Her montage short film of the Woolworths Fire in 1979 mixed with 70's pop music and a choir really echoes the point Price makes in her work. The film was placed purposely in a cinema at The Tate Britian and the music was enhanced with coloured writing on the film.

The film sucked the viewer in and left a feeling of wanting to see more at the end. There were 3 parts to the film, with the church, the reaction to the flames going up, and the burned Woolworths building. I was speechless at the end of the film after questioning myself where it was going.

I admire how trippy the effects are with the old/bad tv mix with the archive footage along with great sound effects carefully balanced by lots of silence. The choir mixes it up and the pop music sends you to your peek where as you are almost tempted to close your ears but u just can't do it. By extracting small sentences from real quotes enhances a real message to the viewer and to be taken on a trip at the same time to almost knock you senseless to me is a powerful bit of work.
