Scene Coming together

The difference is incredible at what fog can do to enhance the atmosphere. As if it's not creepy enough with the children's playground on fire, the fog adds that mysterious edge to it that makes you want to stay away from the trees.

I will admit i was pleasantly surprised with the outcome as i couldn't imagine it  all coming together as smooth as it has done. The fire was made from particles in unity which i could put anywhere, however big or small i wanted with as much or as little smoke. I placed the fire on some trees and random areas to create more life in the background and to bring it back to life. The fog almost made the environment look boring so it gives the audience somewhere else to look at.

One problem that popped up was after i had textured the terrain, if i raised any part of the terrain, grid squares would crop up on parts of the grass. We went with the decision of leaving the grass a little square as on some parts of the playground would benefit from a bumpy terrain such as the bottom of the slide, the horses and the swings. As well as trees and lampposts.

I had to leave out the pathway steps because Curley was too small to walk over them and there wasn't anywhere appropriate to fit it in.
