A film i'd heard about a couple times before which was highly recommended to me, Casino. Released in 1995, directed by Martin Scorsese, and starred Robert De Niro & Joe Pesci
I'm not the biggest film fanatic, which i wish i was by the way... So i can't say i've seen hundreds of films, but this was one i watched most recently and turned around after and said that is definitely one of my favourite movies i've ever seen.
It was me all over, gangsters, money, greed, violence, action and more! It was extremely entertaining and kept me on the edge of my seat for 2 hours 50 minutes always wanting to no whats going to happen next.
The way Scorsese directed it for me was different class, having both De Niro and Pesci narrate throughout the whole movie was really enjoyable and kept the story line going for me. Telling everything how it was, introducing all the characters, the plot, the characters titles, who worked for who... the basics of the film. Obviously in a film you find out who is who and within each introduction of a character you find out who and what they are. But as the two main characters were narrating they said who is who and what's what. I understood what was going on and enjoyed being told what goes on in a casino where as if i was to be left guessing i probably would have no clue.
